Rules

FindersFees.Net is a site dedicated to connecting people who need information with people who have it.

The Code of Conduct on this site is simple. Only use the site for the purpose it was created, make your transactions ethical and for the benefit of everyone involved.

The Rules are;

  1. Never (and we mean never) offer anyone anything that they have not specifically asked for.
    For example John Doe posts that he will pay $250 for information on a 1957 Chev that is for sale, you may only contact him with information about a 1957 Chev that is for sale. Not '57 Chev parts, Chevy clubs, Viagra, Old cars, how to make money flipping cars etc.

  2. Do not create Finders Chains. This is unfair and unethical. A Finders Chain is when you offer to charge a Seeker to put them in contact with another finder. It looks like this "John Doe wants to buy a 1957 Chev, a finder approaches him to charge him for the name of another finder that knows about a '57 Chev.
    You can make any number of connections through whatever means you wish to get the information your Seeker is requesting but none of that cost or work will be apparent to him or in any way an extra cost to him. FindersFees.Net will only facilitate single, one to one transactions.

  3. Do not break agreements or try glean information from Finders to make a find for yourself without paying someone who has done the work for you already

  4. Do not do anything illegal. Paying fees for information is generally legal everywhere in the world however in industries where there are licensed brokers there is reason to be cautious. Check your local laws, be ethical.

 Questions for Finders

If someone is looking for something that I have can I post a reply to them?

Yes but of course you must have exactly what they are looking for.

Can I refer a find to a friend?

Yes, but refer to rule 2

Do I have to use the FindersFees.net escrow service?

No. This is an easy way to pay your 'Find Commission' and ensure that your transaction is problem free but you may arrange payment by any means that works for your agreement.

Can I advertise on your site?

Possibly. Contact us with your proposition.
